Stephen Barry has a diverse background that includes a Bachelor’s of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in 1988. Post-graduation, he worked as an engineer for General Motors in its EDS/Cadillac engineering division designing computer and manufacturing systems.
Stephen attained his Juris Doctorate from Loyola Law School in New Orleans in 1992 and has found his passion in the practice of law.He has taught as an adjunct faculty member at Loyola Law School, New Orleans. He was also appointed by the Louisiana Supreme Court to serve as Judge Pro Tempore in the Traffic and Municipal Courts. His past experience includes serving as Deputy City Attorney with responsibility for civil trial litigation and risk management. He focuses on litigation and trial work in a range of civil tort litigation matters. Stephen is admitted to practice in all state and federal courts in Louisiana, the U.S. Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the U.S. Supreme Court. Daphne McNutt Barry

Daphne obtained her undergraduate degree from Louisiana State University and graduated with honors. She obtained her Juris Doctorate from Loyola University Law School in 1990. During law school, she served as a member of the Law Review.
Her varied practice includes representation of domestic and foreign clients in commercial litigation, casualty litigation and arbitration proceedings. She has experience in handling maritime and international contractual disputes, cases involving enforcement and defense of maritime lien claims, arrests and attachment of vessels and other maritime property, defense of maritime personal injury and cargo claims, and administrative proceedings before United States government agencies. She also has experience litigating insurance coverage disputes. Her appellate practice includes successful appeals at all levels of state court and in the federal courts of appeals. Daphne has a dedicated passion for animals and performs pro bono legal services for the League in Support of Animals. She also frequently supports the local SPCA chapter. |

Kathleen Marksbury is a gifted attorney with over 33 years’ litigation experience. She attained a Bachelors of Science in History from East Carolina University, pairing it with certification in education.
She moved from this to acquiring a Juris Doctorate from Tulane University Law School, graduating Cum Laude. Wendell Verret acquired a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Southwestern Louisiana and followed up with a Master of Arts in Political Science from Louisiana State University. Post grad, he worked as a legislative assistant in the Louisiana House of Representatives for Representatives Theodore M. Haik and Charles R. McDonald.
Mr. Verret went on to attain his Juris Doctorate from Louisiana State University Law School in Baton Rouge, serving afterwards as a law clerk for United States District Judge Richard T. Haik and United States Senior Judge Richard J. Putam. He presently serves as Port Attorney for the Twin Parish Port District in Iberia Parish. He is also involved with the Steering Committee for the rebuilding of the Town of Delcambre and the surrounding community following Hurricane Rita. Mr.Verret is admitted to practice in state and federal courts in Louisiana and the U.S. Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals. Mr. Verret currently serves as of counsel for the firm. |
